Geoffrey B. Small women's A-Line coat in La Colombina basketweave cotton. 

One of only three pieces of its kind, of which two were hand made exclusively for Blue Mountain School.

Created from Small's original 5-button single breasted notch-lapel A Line short coat pattern from Small's extensive tailoring research, cut in a hand woven cotton and linen basket weave fabric woven by the Colombo family at Tessitura La Colombina at Badoere di Morgano, combined with a pure silk floral lining woven in Como, Italy.  

Featuring hand cut besom welt pockets, working surgeon's cuffs, fly-front closure with top-stitch details, remarkable corozo-nut buttons made exclusively for Small by the legendary Fontana family of buttonmakers in Parma, Italy, and real hand-stitched buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta thread, each one requiring at least 8-10 minutes to cut and sew.

Each piece is individually hand dyed in Small's workrooms to achieve its unique patina and softness.
