One of five pieces of its kind, hand made exclusively for Blue Mountain School.

Created from Small's classic 3 button single breasted, notch-lapel jacket pattern from his extensive tailoring research, cut by hand in CITES certified 'Cocoon', 80% Baby Cashmere and 20% Argentinian Vicunya woven in Biella, Italy. Combined with a partial pure silk 'Persian Paisley' lining made by the Brenna family in Como, and pure cupro Bemberg-style sleeve linings woven by Tessitura Mauri in Como.

Features old-fashioned canvas horsehair front and collar interfacings, real working surgeon's cuffs, remarkable artisan-made horn buttons created exclusively for Small by the legendary Fontana family of buttonmakers in Parma, Italy, and 12 real hand stitched buttonholes in pure silk Bozzolo Reale Milano Seta thread, each one requiring at least 8-10 minutes to cut and sew. 

Individually dyed by hand in Small's workrooms using a process that requires over 18 hours to achieve its unique colour, patina and softness.
