The Elder Statesman

The Elder Statesman was founded in Los Angeles in 2007 by Greg Chait. Shortly after launching his label, Blue Mountain School became only the second stockist in the world to work with Chait in 2008 after Maxfield in LA.

The label is renowned for its fine cashmere pieces made using intricate dyeing techniques and traditional hand-loom processes. Their relaxed silhouettes combine impeccable craftsmanship with laid-back comfort of the highest quality, made from the softest yarns sourced from the best suppliers across the globe.
